You'd Think I'd Be Used To It By Now
Preparing to head in to stripping down for Black Friday. Sending all the love in the world to my brothers and sisters out there in the retail world. You have to be a special kind of crazy to manage what we do during the holidays. Yes, it’s a job and that’s a good thing, but until you have to do it, don’t try to tell us how grateful we should be to have it.

I’m especially talking to you Target and Wal-mart employees.

Good luck, guys.

I'm so tired from this past week I'm not the least sleepy. I have decided my theme song for this week is "Scream" by MJ.It popped in my head as I ran around like a chicken without one. Tonight I ran to the timeclock at 11:30 leaving the SD with innumerable return carts Last nite we had a ton of associates to sort and carryback but all i had tonite was a few cashiers & My service desk ladies.Oh well. The silver lining is that we don't have to do this again for a year. There was something else nice about your fics I was gonna say that I thought of and forgot on the way to work :/

Thanks again for your great writing and BTW It has really helped me wind down after work :)

Re: commiserating
I was pretty much the same until I got in last night and I just died, workclothes and makeup still on, for about two hours, got up and got a shower, climbed back into bed, and slept until around 1:40. I'm still pretty wiped out and would love to sleep the rest of the day, but we have running-around to do.

We had a ton of people around until about seven last night, then a ton of people went home, and the lines stayed the same. So it was crazy trying to stay ahead of the lines with three cashiers, a ton of people, and everyone freaking out because it was the one day a year BB&B makes people wait. Biggest problem last night was trying to deal with wickedly-mean customers and the total bombsite that was the store. SUCH a mess.

You'd think I would be used to it after six years, but nope. I don't think I ever will be. Makes me feel better that my writing did something to help someone out last night. :D
