My Birthday This Year Will Not Suck, But My Heart Will Break
This musical was the first I ever truly loved with every fiber of my being. I own every official version of the soundtrack including the extended special edition. I have the Royal Albert Hall concert. I own the libretto. There is not a song in it that I cannot sing from memory. I know the variations that have occurred over the year. I have even written a character in some of my original fiction that played Eponine in a senior performance on it, which was how I ended up learning all of the lines from the damn thing.

So this? This is going to make one of the best birthday presents I've ever received. From the moment that Anne started singing, I had chills. Just CHILLS. No, sweetheart, I can't truly accept you as Selina, but I welcome you with open arms as my Fatine. Let you love you and my 'Ponine and please, please film let me finally care for Cosette now that she's played by my Stephanie [Amanda Seyfried] and one of the cutest little child actresses ever.

I dreamed a dream in time gone by...

I know, right? I rarely cry like that over trailers, but this? Totally off-guard and I was just destroyed. I've waited YEARS for this. And God help you all if they ever decide to make Miss Saigon. Between that and Les Miserables...

Sorry it took so long to get back but my life is the crazy lately. *snuggles* Miss you!
