Dear Mr. Snyder,

You seem to have mixed up your casting asides. Amy Adams is LANA LANG, not LOIS LANE. I love her, hell I fucking ADORE her, but this casting? I wanted to keep my hope alive. I really did. This doesn't even have to do with Rashida not getting the part. It has to do with the fact that I just can't handle the choices any more. I'm sorry, but I've gone from dubious to disbelief. It's not that Amy won't try her heart out and she can handle some of the spunk, but she's Lana. Period. End of story.

So sorry we couldn't do business,

What I want to know is where's the edge? Lois Lane has edges. Lots of them! It’s her thing!! It's that quality of roughness combined with her huge heart that makes her Lois freaking Lane! And dude? Lois Lane ain't no freaking DISNEY PRINCESS!!

A-Men. I've watched a LOT of films with Amy Adams besides "Enchanted" (She was Amelia Earhart in "Night at the Museum 2", Julie in "Julie and Julia" and Sister James in "Doubt" and Charlie Wilson's Chief of Staff in "Charlie Wilson's War") but in every single role I've seen her in the innocence is the key element. Even the Amelia she played as kind of an innocent spunk, not really what I'd expect from Lois, who has always had a bit harder edge to her spunk than all the roles I've seen Adams in. I love my Disney princesses (Belle in particular) but Lois Lane, they are not.

Yes, this. I loved Amy Adams in the roles she's played but her shitch really is innocent spunk, which is so not the Generals Daughter.
