I just wanted to post and thank all of you for worrying about me. It was a pretty bad situation, but I think I'm clear of it now. I'll likely catch minor hell over it until they start to forget, but I'll live. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'll likely stop trying to live under a rock after I get home tonight. *tacklesnuggles her F-List*

Also, OMFGWTFHGDPOLAR?!?!?!?! Am I the only one wondering what fuckery they're about with the casting on Man of Steel? This latest has me scared again. Too many big names already. Now I'm pushing even harder for Rashida. An all-star production is never a good thing.

I'm glad you're okay.

I've given up on Hollywood producing anything new I actually like. :glum frown: I can't think of much recently that they haven't screwed up royally.

Thanks. It was a fun couple of days, but yeah. :D

I know how you feel. I think the last thing I saw I liked was Black Swan and that's because I'm a trained actor and loved all the method acting they showed. I'll stick to the Reeveverse to be happy, methinks.

I'm so glad you're feeling a bit better, hon. *squeezes*

But what the fresh hell is this crap about Kevin Costner as Pa Kent!? O_o *twitch* Just another reason to not see this one in the theaters. :/ I'll stick to SR and Reeveverse with you, hon.

Just a bit. I'm going to try to chill on tomorrow. Also, Richard coming at you ASAP. Sorry it's late. We're going to take a week's break after ATU next week and get caught up. Our two fics and Anissa's solo are making things difficult on the juggling end of things.

I'm still holding out a little hope. But the Lois casting may break it for me. As well as possible story lines. *looks dubious*

**huggles some more just because I can** I'm glad you're doing better.

Um, yeah. I just saw the Costner news, and went O_o. My interest in the film totally hinges on Lois at this point...

Ready to head to WB with me with the pitchforks?

But then again, when Chris Nolan cast Batman Begins, there were a lot of big, A-list stars as back-up too, with the possible exception of the apparent miscast of Katie Holmes, happily replaced by Maggie Gyllenhaal in the sequel. To name names, there were Liam Neeson, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman and Cillian Murphy, with the addition of Heath Ledger and Aaron Eckhart in the sequel.

As far as I know, the star power behind the Batman franchise was handled very well and did not detract from either the storyline or the character of Batman himself.

While I understand that Superman is a whole other beast, so to speak, I trust that the same team which brought us such quality films will be up to the challenge ahead, and will bring us a balanced portrait of the Man of Steel. I cannot believe that Chris "Mr. Control-Freak" Nolan will have let Snyder sign on if he had not thoroughly explained how the final product should eventually look like.

Hopefully the future casting announcements will satisfy fans at large. But I do not want to give up on this project without at least seeing a few productions stills or, further on in the schedule, a first trailer.

I really like Diane Lane so I'm SUPER excited about her being Martha Kent. Kevin Costner, I'm ambivalent about. Absolutely LOVE Henry Cavill now that I've seen more of his hot bod acting. But yes, Lois is key. Rashida Jones, FTMFW. PLEASE.

In other news, Cary Elwes is in the Wonder Woman TV show. I'm kind of excited about that now. No doubt he'll be the smarmiest smarm to ever smarmy.
