'Life in Mono: A Margot Kidder Tribute'
Now that I have the amount of footage I have, I decided that now would be a good time to fill the first part of a request I got a few months ago for single fanvideos of Margot and Chris. Had to find just the right song and BAM! Done in two days. :D

This isn't all her films by a long shot, but a selection of them. I hope you enjoy!

View in HD. YT ate the quality of the footage. Dammit.

Wow,you did a great job and in such a small amount of time! It's wonderful. Margot is so lovely, and I never realized she was in so many films; such a wonderful talent..!

Thank you for sharing this hon! :D

The really amazing part? This isn't even HALF of her films. Including TV roles and voice work, she's done 124 roles. :D

Thanks, love! I love the chance to show people that she's not just Lois Lane, even if that might be her most famous role! And isn't she, though? *snugs baby Margot*

Aw, this came out absolutely fantastic! :D Whenever we get the chance to get together, we definitely need to watch a couple of Margot's films.

BTW, it looks like YT blocked your vid for copyright blah-blah-blah. :( *baps them*

Awww! Thank you! I was really worried about the timing on it. And agreed! I think you'd like Sisters and Black Christmas, if nothing else. EXCELLENT films. And she's a riot as Barb in BC.

And I figured that would happen, which is why I always back-up to Vimeo. :P Stupid YT.

Loooove it! So happy we have all this footage! Speaking of, what's the clip at the end, and the one right before TAH!Margot is holding the girl at some point in the first half?

I love how the SII kiss and the TAH twirl go PERFECTLY with the music. Great job, lady! ♥

Me, too. I love that I'm not still having to use the exact same footage in every video anymore. It makes the AU videos SO much more believable. And I get to show people that she's done a few more films than they think. Now if we could just get a hold of some of the rarer films...

Both scenes were from Some Kind of Hero [1982], a film about a former-POW coming home from the war to his former life in the States having passed him by. Richard Pryor was the vet, she's eventually the girlfriend. That's all I'm saying. ;)

Love your work. Hope you have this video on you tube as well so that those superman fans who are unappreciative of margot's beauty and talent would realize they are completely mistaken. Erica Durance and Brandon Routh are my current favorites but nothing beats Margot Kidder and Christopher Reeve in my point of view. Hope you'll do something with the superman instrumental love theme as background with more young margot footage when they become available. Many thanks. And God bless.

Thank you so much! I have it up at YT, but WMG has the content blocked in several countries. It's also up at Vimeo, so here's hoping a few people catch it there. And you know me, it's all about reminding people that there is more to Margot than they think they've seen. I'm amazed that people think she's only been in two or three movies! And you guys are my motivation for stuff like this! The comments mean a lot!

As to the instrumental, I'd love to. I actually had a video up on YT once upon a time called 'Never Forgot' that had the footage from the Superman series and audio, as well, set to 'Love Theme'. YT blocked it. I'll attempt another one later, but it might only be availble in Vimeo. :

Again, thank you so much!
