In Another Lifetime Index
In Another Lifetime is our attempt to write an alternate Superman II with a few changes in events. What if the trip to Niagara Falls had been in the Blue Ridge Mountains instead, leading the two of them along a different road to the events to follow? How would that change Lois and Clark and their destiny? What new adventures will it lead them to? And will they be forced to part this time around?

I wanted to make it easier to access and I'm adding new goodies to my profile to make these fics simple to get to and one-click! Glad it made you happy, love!

*hugs this one ever so close like warm, yummy hot chocolate with whipped cream and peanut butter sprinkles*

Don't get me wrong, I loves me some Little Secrets but this series is a lot less emotionally draining and is thus a comfort fic when I'm down.

*wide eyes* I never knew you had read this one! And I have to agree. It's the Happy Ending 'Verse for a reason. Sometimes Fluff doesn't hurt. ;)

You mean I didn't leave a comment?! *GASP* I'm so sorry! Yes, I gulped this one down before I inhaled LS. (And then I went back and re-read the last couple to give me some happy).

It's a really well-plotted re-working of SMII. I especially liked how Lois is an active participant in the kick-assness.

*LOL* Sweetheart, I didn't even know you finished LS until you popped up on Heirs. *snugs*

Why is it that everyone thinks LS is angsty? Maybe the action and the drama. Dunno. *shrugs*

That was always the thing that made me the most crazy about SII, at least the Lester version. She's so strong a character, yet they let her just be a spectator! Don't you think she'd fight for him? Essentially, I threw in everything the teenage version of me wanted to see. Yeah, it's fluff and the fanboys would all bitch, but we wrote this during LS for a reason.

I wouldn't categorise it as "angst." It has angsty moments but it's interspersed with a lot of other things, too-- action, comedy, slice of life. That's what I look for in a plotted story.

She's so strong a character, yet they let her just be a spectator!
--YES. Granter, the Lester version had a less active Lois so the ending was really appropriate. *cough* The Donner Cut's version of Lois is my canon. And while I have all the SM movies in my collection, I only ever watch SMI, SMII and SR.

*sighs with relief* And I love you for it. We just wanted the fic to feel as if you were there with them, standing at their side as it happened. I think that's why Kala begin thrown off the cliff terrified a lot of people when we first posted it. They really thought we'd kill her. *hugs her poor Kal* I'm just glad that people enjoyed the fic.

And that's exactly why the Lester frustrated me. I love the romantic moments that were there (the Clois moment under the elevator in Paris, which happened in LS although at a different timeline; the dialogue before the bear-trip; the dialogue after, which is our canon after the gunshot; and the amnesia kiss, which we also used), but Margot is capable of so much more.

That's why the DC made me so damn happy. Not THAT'S my Lois. She totally sold her there, but I still wanted her to have been more involved. I really wish that Donner would have had the chance to do more with them and may have on SII if he had continued on. God knows Margot was gung-ho for whatever they threw at her. Except the damn flying harness. ;)

Sounds like the clusterwank between Fox execs & Brian Singer re: X-Men franchise. X3 was supposed to be SO GOOD. *sighs*

And that's why you don't let Brett Ratner in your franchise. *smirk*

I only ever watched it in scenes. I really and truly hated it. The again, I'm thrilled that we got Bryan for SR, even if they'll have to reboot X-men with Origins.

Dude. The title's from a Gary V song?

Yep. I first heard it on an H/HR vid and fell head over heels. *hopes this doesn't make her sound too much like a geek*

*L* I get songs out of vids, too. I'm totally out of the Philippine music loop is all. I didn't know (a) he still made music and (b) it travelled outside of the Philippines.

I actually have a few of his songs. I see so many videos these days that I'm never even sure of the country of origin of the music or the vid itself. Heck, my favorite vid of the moment is from the uber-scary All the Boys Love Mandy Lane and set to a very sweet song from the 70s (Carrie, of all thing). It's no wonder I get all kinds of wacky ideas.
