Damn, hon! O_o *huggles you* It boggles the mind how utterly brain-dead some people can be.

...What?

Long hair surcharge? To your shoulders? That is not long. My hair is long, it goes down past the bottom of my shoulder blades, almost half-way down my back, and I have never been charged anymore than my sister who has hair that ends way above her shoulders.

As for the waiting? That's just bad customer service. Personally I'd write a (polite) letter of complaint, maybe just bring it to someone's attention that you weren't satisfied with their level of service, they might listen. (But send it after your appointment, lol).

*hugs*

Heh. I was once told it would cost an extra $25 to blow-dry my long hair ... hair that was, admittedly, down to my waist. However, I thought that was totally unreasonable because a shampoo & cut was $15, and a shampoo, cut, & dry was $18, making a blow-dry a $3 upgrade. I told the lady I wasn't gonna pay SEVEN TIMES the normal cost of a blow dry. So I drove home with wet hair, and have continued to do so every time I get my hair cut.

I agree with the above comment - you should write a letter of complaint. Seriously bad customer service there - you should go to another hair cut place and bail on that one! (Or at least threaten that in the letter.)
