Okay, everyone keeps on going on about this episode and the awesomeness it contains so I finally watched it on YouTube and (even if I was a bit wtf? with some bits having only seen this ep) I must say OMG *EPICLEGIONFANGIRLSQUEE* I love the Legion of Superheroes (though I'm glad they just went with 'The Legion') and fanboy-Garth was so awesome it was almost beyond words, 'where's the cape?', the jacket, the reference to the 'no flights, no tights' rule, and especially the ball (sure Garth, it's for Alya, we believe you). The only thing that bothered me was that Imra doesn't speak out loud in the comics, but that's hardly a turn-off.

And Alison was amazing, except her eyes looked like they would really hurt (I know it was Braniac/makeup but it still made me wince).

I hope you get better soon *hugs*

*LOL* It's pretty interesting to jump into Smallville with no idea what the hell they're up to, especially since you're a comic-verse reader. Srsly, we're lucky to have canon on the show, period.

I loved it because I wasn't hugely familiar with the Legion, but I knew enough to know that there would be fanboy-age. Especially with Garth. XD I really had hoped that someone would out the Clois a bit more, though. Figured that Garth and his run-away mouth would do it, but no. :(

OMFG, Allison. Fr srs. I'm SOOOO proud of her for that performance. It wasn't strictly Brainiac, but it is was played beautifully! Why don't they let her play a villain more often?! I loved the makeup, although Anissa thought she looked creepier in the FOS, with the high-white makeup. It wasn't quite as eerie when she was in regular light, but I don't care. She was just rock-the-house-down awesome. :D
