I have so much going on right now! Between work and writing, not to mention the fact that I still have holiday shopping to do! I also need to see if my computer is interested enough that I can upload that Christmas mix I wanted to load last week.
On the good side of things I have three of Anissa's gifts bought, as well as a good portion of the rest of the family. There's still a lot left to go, though, and I'm worried about running out of time. And money.
I'm also waffling back and forth with how much Christmas spirit I'm feeling. Some days I'm still pretty excited, but the FIL is making that difficult. A word of advice: if you want to be made to feel 15 and stupid for the rest of your life, either live with a parent or have one live with you. I think I got less lectures when I was a teenager. *kicks him*
Both fics are going pretty well now. We most of the way through the last half of the twins' party and we plan to have it out to the betas by Thursday at the latest. All I Want for Christmas is currently being spear-headed by me, as Anissa's having a little trouble with it. Although we managed to see the live version of Terry Pratchett's Hogfather on Saturday night, which has made her feel more like Christmas than I've seen in a long time. It's my turn to pick the film tonight, since we skipped last night because she was working on something else and I was reading Duma Key, and it's going to be the Joos Family Favorite, A Christmas Story. *LOL* "Scut Farkus!" *dies*
Now if I could just keep from killing the older of my twin sisters for how hard-headed she's being about money, we'd be fine. It really sucked to be young, stubborn, and in love. If you don't have the money to drive 30 miles out of your way two times a week, when you're not working enough to justify the gas, you find out way around it. *boots her in the butt* Geez, I was never that dumb! I took the bus! How can I get that through her thick Irish head? *shakes her*
*sighs* Love you all!
