The Promised Vacation Picture Stash!
After looking over the sheer amount of photos I have, I decided that I would post them as slideshows. Let me know if they're difficult to see. I still need to go back and label the pics, but these are them.

Day One

Day Two

Day Three

Now off I go to clean up the Black Friday mess! Wish me luck!

gorgeous, gorgeous pics! It's Autumn epitomized! With each inhale of breath you must have smelled the trees, the crisp air *wistful sigh* Oh fall, I shall miss thee..

Oh, we could. It was crazy-cold half the time, but it was pure heaven. And WOW did it kick-start both my Muse and the holiday season for me. It's been months since I felt this calm. I mean, I didn't even stress at all today. Zero worries, despite the hordes of psycho rich people. It's amazing what four days in the cold and snow will do. *grins like a doof*

Wow, what beautiful pictures. Looked cold though, I can't believe some places look like that when I'm sitting here melting into a puddle in the heat. But, everything looked so pretty, the trees, the mountains and the stream. It reminded me of Germany a bit, down south. *sigh* Now I really want to go hiking again.

Btw, was that a fox or something in a few of the pics? I couldn't tell.

It was cold. There were several nights that it got down to low 30s and high 20s. But it was beyond glorious. We saw so much snow! The only problem was that we were driving most of the time we saw huge amounts and there was a worry of black ice, so taking pics was a no-go. But it was so beautiful there! Coming home really was hard. I can't wait for the day when we finally stay up there for good. *sighs wistfully*

Oh! That is a little coyote! Isn't he gorgeous? *snuggles him* We were driving around Cades Cove (an animal preserve) and there he was! Those are actually two sets of pics. The first one we just saw him when we drove past that barn. Anissa wanted to double back to see if he was there. It took us about fifteen minutes to loop the trail to see him again, but there he was when we came back. He has switched sides of the road, but he was sitting there looking toward us when we came back. Almost as if he was waiting for us! :D

Hey, that kind of weather is not too hideously far from you, lady! I'm jealous that you never have to leave it. I've caught myself missing that part of the country and we haven't even been back for a week. *pout*

And I'm so sorry that the drive was too far for you! We would have loved to see you and Bryan, but we understand how far a drive it would have been!

Eh, it was the snow. No snow here yet, and I'm just itching for it!

And yeah, mostly, it was that we didn't have nearly enough money for gas, since Bryan didn't get paid until yesterday. :/ Dangit.

*more hugs*

You have no idea how difficult it was to leave, especially knowing that that is where I want to stay for good. And it's so breath-taking up there.

Buuuut, I'm glad to be back home with the Family here. *hugs* It's just not the same without you guys!
