OMFG, Where Do I Even Get Started? (SV Cliffie)
I really need to write up a huge review for Bride. Like mondo-huge. I'm seriously on cloud nine right now, even if we do have almost two months before we see a new episode and have even longer for we see Erica again. *snuggles her tight* If I never loved her Lois before, I'm head over heels now. This episode was made of so much win that I have to agree with the others. Even with the inclusion of Her Royal Pinkness (who actually seems interesting for once since the Lexana ended), it was clear that they took their time and spent their money on this one. Which just goes to show, yet again, what AlMiles cheated us out of all these years.

And the ending? The slow-mo scene between Lois and Clark. Oh, yes, things are going to be changin' up in here. My heart hurts every time I see it. It's going to be a hard road that your about to walk, but he's worth it. Especially now. Promise. *weeps of happy* And someone needs to tell me what the song was in the finale montage. I'm in love. Like srs lurv. And it was so perfect for the action. I couldn't be happier with it if I tried. And januaried , I really stand by my theory. I want to see the things I told you about the other night as far as certain people being in the know. :D From my mouth to their ears. ;)

ETA: I know the name of the song now! It's Don't Take Your Love Away From Me by Vast. And be warned: this song will give you insane plot bunnies. Fr srs!

Oh! I also just finished my newest video. If you're interested, check it out. Anissa has requested a teenage Jason video next, so...

Dude. Dude. Dude. ~O_O~ Where do I start?

Your vid. HOMG, I'm sitting here with goosebumps and CHILLS. I never would have thought about that song for a Clois vid, but DAMN, it just works perfectly! And here's the kicker: I JUST finished editing the reveal chapter of Aftermath. Now where was this vid for inspiration when I needed it!? XD Dayum!

And last night's SV. O_O *flails* As unhappy as I was that the kiss was DENIED by the arrival of Lana, I couldn't stop flailing over the awesomeness of the Clois. The scene where they were getting ready for the wedding, and Clark started reading Jimmy's vows... XD Oh, Gods, the awesome trainwreck of that moment! And Lois's talk with Ollie later... I just wanted Ollie to say Clark needed them both, and they should go find him and take care of him. ^_~ Ahem! Pardon my momentary Clark/Lois/Ollie shipping. They're too pretty to deny sometimes. :p

*breathes again*

Yes. This. :p

And you have a theory? O_O I wanna know! *bounces*

You should have seen my face when I first heard the Evanescence version of Sally's Song. My plotbunnies just went mad, completely mad. :D And I'm sorry about not being done soon enough to help you with the Muse. :( I have to admit, I'm pretty happy with it myself. Then again, it think that I'm just on an angsty kick right now. Although the next video is a happier one.

And ZOMG, don't get me started on last night! I've seen the thing all the way through five times now and I've still not come down from the high. Although it's really the final scene that haunts me. The interaction between them, even just the expressions, murder me so bad. And the scene on the porch with Ollie. I can't believe that she actually said it out loud. *bites lip* It's going to happen. It's really going to happen. And it makes me so happy I want to cry.

The theory? *slow smile* Give me a little more time and I'll spill. ;)

I may faint from the shock but I actually LIKED Lana in this - I was like 'OMG GO LANA' when she told Clark if he had taken her memories she might never forgive him - or whatever it was she said regarding that. I was kind of ... annoyed at Ollie for not saying something about it (because Chloe not knowing kind of affects him too in a way.) I thought Ollie would have more to say about it. Though he redeemed himself with the very touching scene with Lois near the end. Aww.

Erica rocked so hard core.

What's your theory? *curious*
Lois: SV :: Cloisvillekalalanekent on November 22nd, 2008 04:46 am (UTC)
I did, too, but I really hope she doesn't try for anything stupid. At this point, I'm not worried for the Clois for the simple fact that they both know what's happening, that you could see in the final scene between them. What I'm worried about is Lana backsliding and trying to mess his emotions up again. I really want to like her this time around. And we all know that it'll take a miracle to redeem her to me. And Ollie was a bit of a butt-monkey until the scene with Lois (which personally made me sniffle).

And Erica most assuredly did. She makes me love her more and more in each episode. If there was ever a successor to Margot, I truly believe it's our Ms. Durance.

XD Two wondering now. Let me keep looking into the rumors and I'll reveal all shortly. Promise. ;)

That was beautiful, sweetie! Heartbreaking, and that song... wow!!! Thanks, hon!:D

I was so wrapped up in the video, forgot to talk about SV Bride! I know it just breaks your heart. *sniffles* Our couple is in for a lot of this down the road, can you see it? Oh, yeah, and it will be all the sweeter in the end because they went through so much to be together. *sniffles*

Lana coming back, their separation, and everything that has happened this season will all be behind them when they finally get together. *can't wait for that*!! :D

Aww! Thanks, love! I was hoping that someone would like it. That version of the song just makes my plotbunnies freak out. :D

Bride was just too much awesome for the mind to comprehend. I mean, OMG! The just complete awesome that was the whole thing, not just the Clois. They really showed the love for the fans on the screen this week. One of my favorite moments in the ending was Lois being so upset over the insanity that surrounds them. As hard as it will be for her, it's only just beginning, but what she'll get in return for the craziness will totally be worth it.

I have to give it to Lana; if she can stick to her 'it's over' and continue to make me impressed, I'll finally stop the hate. If she can make up for all the drama and the bullshit, I may just forgive her. But if she backslides on it, I say feed her to the hardcore Cloisers. The mean, nasty ones that hate Zombie!Clana viciously.

Hear me, Lana. Don't blow it or I'll sick my Lana on you. Which means you'll deal with my Lois because Lana White is too much of a lady to kick your ass! *LOL*

You said it!! *LOL* The two Lanas... the lovely Mrs. White in your story, and Ms. Zombie!Lana on SV. Talk about two different characters. It really is a shame the way she's been written. We know she won't get with Clark, but did they have to pair her with Lex? I admit, they did click in a big way, but Lex was such a disaster, and Clark couldn't help but be pulled back into her drama.

Hopefully, that's all over. But is it? Lex is alive and she knows it. Oh, boy...! January 15... we'll see how Ms. Lang will be involved in all of this. You know she'll be there. But just not with Clark... thankyouverymuch!! :D
Lois: Richana :: Lana :: Small-Town Beautykalalanekent on November 22nd, 2008 05:49 pm (UTC)
I totally agree on the way SV Lana is played. And I think it's a shame for Kristin Kreuk, as she's not a bad actress. I hate that AlMiles made her so sweet at the beginning of the series, only to turn her into a whiny brat by season three! And the funny thing is that the Lex situation threw Clark into overdrive, but it also showed her as a compelling character who could be someone without Clark. Then again, she screwed that up after a while with her psycho co-dependance, but that's beside the point. The minute that you seperate them for good, she has to be her own person. And I think that's what I saw on Thursday. Heck, I'd even like her as a villain, if they can do it right. Enough of the Zombie!Clana. It just got ridiculous at the end.

My Lana knew that it was all over, the high-school crush and all of that, when she saw him with Lois. End of story. And I think that SV Lana knows that. She's mentioned he and Lois together before and you would have had to blind not to see it when they're together. I really, really hope she takes the high road and leaves him be.

I really hope that the PS3 prove me right and she's good enough to be awesome this year and really has moved on. How awesome would it be if these writers managed to redeem her to the point that we could like and admire her for who she is now? I think it would be just their kind of miracle. ;)

I actually liked her paired with Lex! I thought Lexana had a lot of potential to be INTERESTING ... until the writers decided to make Lana a martyr by the pairing. I think I would have enjoyed SV's Lana go all evil ...

I know, I'm in the minority (as always) though!
Lois: Lois :: Dramatic Shockkalalanekent on November 22nd, 2008 10:16 pm (UTC)
*gasp* SV Lana a martyr?! Say it isn't so!

Loony Loopy Lea Lovegoodchickadilly on November 22nd, 2008 10:17 pm (UTC)

I don't have my Lana is a martyr icon anymore, too bad. ;)

Oh, I still have them. All of them. Just because I don't have them up doesn't mean I don't love and cherish them even now. :D
Loony Loopy Lea Lovegoodchickadilly on November 22nd, 2008 10:29 pm (UTC)
HAHAA - that icon is good!

I have it somewhere on my hard drive - just not on LJ anymore. I decided I wanted to be rid of Lana icons. LOL

Lois: SV :: Cloisvillekalalanekent on November 22nd, 2008 10:33 pm (UTC)
Not me. Pink Princess Of DOOM!Lana icons are the gift that keeps on giving. The old days just amuse me that much now. :D

They're awesome, I do agree. But I had to make way for new Lois icons. :D

Sweet video, Twin. :D

I'm still geeking out over Bride, too. The best episode of the series, bar none. I love how they keep winking at the fans during this season. It makes what we had to endure for so long all worth it. All of that was a build up to this. How glorious and great. :D

Oh, and I totally agree with your comment to Lea about Mrs. White and Lois confronting Lana. XD Mrs. White > Lana. Period.
Lois: Heirs :: Lois Lana :: Sisterskalalanekent on November 22nd, 2008 05:57 pm (UTC)
Awww! Thanks, Twin. It took quite a while to finish on that stupid WMM. I'm hoping that the second video for Heirs will be easier to render. *hugs*

I still don't have the words to explain just how utterly amazing Bride was. It could have been a cheap and obvious ploy for fall sweeps, but it was... It was a miracle, really. The best-written, most moving episode I've ever seen. The writing was top-knotch and all of the money spent was there to see. I'm just so wildly proud of what they managed to this season; they literally rised this thing from ashes. If it hadn't been for the season finale last year, I've not sure I would have given this show a second thought. They managed the impossible: they saved a show destined for the chopping block in its EIGHTH season. I mean, who does that?!

And I'm totally with you there. Mrs. White totally pwns Lana Lang-Luthor. Hands-down.
