As The Awesome Continues...
When Anissa finally woke up and got her stuff together, she surprised me with something she's been planning: one of our local theaters is showing The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3-D HD! Not only that, knowing that I'm a bonafide turkaconous, I'm getting an early Thanksgiving, complete with all the trimmings. If that isn't love, I don't know what is.

And then we're going to watch a couple of scary movies before bed. I have to work tomorrow, but I don't have to be in until noon, so it's all good. I might even have a glass of wine with dinner.

Here's hoping the good streak lasts! *love to the F-List*

It's amazing. Awesome Tim Burton family film; a little scary with lots of funny and heart. Totally worth seeing. Totally worth buying, although my favorite by him is The Corpse Bride. OMG, so in love with Helena Bonham Carter.

Keep in mind, despite the fun, that that's pretty unusual. Anissa's check was a little fatter than normal, so she decided to treat me. Not that I'm complaining. ;)

How did the assembly go? *hugs*

It went unexpectedly well actually. With 850 people at our school we're not as big as some but it's still pretty scary standing up there. Luckily I had notes with me and I just tried to avoid saying 'um' or 'ah'. But when I got down the teacher who'd asked me to talk said "I had no idea you were such a good public speaker. Do you do Drama?" Which made me feel pretty awesome. (I used to do Drama way back when I was about 11 but apparently some of it stuck with me!)

That's awesome! And you'd be amazed when stuff like that will come back to you! We were super-busy at work yesterday and not a single person had the slightest clue I wanted to hit them all upside the head. ;) See?

I'm glad it went well, Grace!
