The kalalanekent Monster Fic Index [Updated 5/11/13]
P.S. All my stuff is also at fanfic.net.  Leaving reviews there inspires me to write more smut.  (Yes, this is Anissa posting.  How'd you guess?)

Ahem.  On to the stories.

Kal-El of Krypton has a surprise for his 'guest'. This story contains some spoilers for 'Across the Universe', but nothing that will harm your enjoyment of the story. This was our first try at the current story, so this may or may not remain canon.

Being Human :: Words: 1,486 :: Published: 11-18-10

Being a sixteen-year-old General's daughter on Earth is drama enough. Try being one on a technologically-advanced planet where your species is considered primitive and eccentric. No longer canon, but a nice moment in time with them.

Loving the LS verse
Warning I babble
Hey I've been reading you on ff.net but some how never noticed this verse until I read LOH I only started reading fanfic due to Smallville withdrawal. I am also in Fl and a Customer Service Mgr in retail I have always loved superman from watching STM with my Dad as a small girl and became a teenager the last season of LNC (I know you don't like it but kids have a higher tolerance for cheese and I never noticed the quantity until rewatch as an adult) Then Smallville with the Gorgeous Tom Welling.
(Just out of curiosity what do you think of Chloe?) Any way I finished Heirs there was no way I was gonna sleep after the insanity I went through last night and it was made of awesome! I had been somewhat dissolussioned with SR after I found out about Bryan Singers Terrible,Evil sequel plans.
But you Fixed it Yay! I love that you gave Jason a sister there is something special about twins. It has always been obvious that Clark would be a wonderful Daddy. I will always think of him as Clark. Kala=Blur now that is just right.. Enough rambling. Long story not short I am really enjoying LOH and your first story I saw ATU. Thank you I appreciate all your hard work.

P.S I normally lurk (embarrassed blush) but your super(bad pun intended) brought me out of hiding

Re: Loving the LS verse
Awww! Aren't you sweet? Thank you so much for delurking! And babble all you want, I don't mind.

I've actually been getting quite a few people that are missing Smallville. It might just help because I've pretty much decided that Tom Welling and Erica Durance are my basis of grown-up Jason and Elise. They were just too perfect not to use.

[As for Chloe, I go back and forth. More than anything, I blame the writers for the fact that she's inconsistent as time goes on. I really liked her at the beginning, liked some of the ideas they had for her, even liked her with Clark, but they seemed to lose a creative path for her once Lois showed up. Which we all knew was going to happen. And they had the hardest time coming up with an original storyline for her. I hate that they ended up plugging her into different pegs that belonged to other characters [Oracle, Black Canary, etc.], but I don't honestly dislike her. Actually, even though they pulled a fast one with she and Ollie at the end, I was happy for her. In the end, I'll say that I actually really like Chloe, but I DON'T like what the writers did to her. Actually, if you watch closely, you might just catch a few indirect references to her in LaOH, thanks to an idea from someone else's canon]

Thank you so much for the read-through on Heirs! And yeah, we just couldn't resist the need to meddle in Singer's plans, although I have to be honest and say that I actually did mostly like SR. There were just a few problems that I had that wouldn't go away and it was a story similar to one that I had written growing up, so we just went with it and wrote LS. And thank you about that with the twins! So many people gave me so much trouble about Jason having a twin when the series started, so many Jedi Twins jokes, but I really did think that Jason shouldn't have to go through life without someone to understand exactly what he was going through, hence the sister. And I wanted a way to incorporate the Supergirl thing without having Kara.

And Kala as the Blur was my little tip of the hat to Smallville, since speed is one of her major powers. Jason has to be Superboy and Kala needed a hero name that couldn't hint at the legacy, so Blur was a good choice and I was thrilled to include it. The fact that she's wearing a version of Smallville Clark's costume, complete with trench, makes me happy, too. She'll start messing with it more later in the series [someone very important to her later life makes the new uniform for her, so], but yeah.

*looks at current reply* See, I babble, too. I hope you continue to read and enjoy the story and I'm proud to count you amongst them. Don't be afraid to comment and I promise to answer when I can. Sometimes it takes a few days. *hugs* Thank you again for coming and talking to me. :D

And don't worry about me not being a LNC fan. Honestly, it really is the cheese factor that always put me off it. I can respect the fans and your love for it, doesn't make you any less Superman fans at all, it's just that it's not my cup of tea! Love whatever you want within fandom! ♥
