I Just Couldn't Resist

Kala follows in her father's footsteps by doing a Public Safety poster.

Nah. You wouldn't ruin it. Her expression and clothes make it pricless. She's a mini-Lois right there. *squishes her*

She is a cuteness, isn't she? God, I love the twins. I have the best time with them. My favorite right now is the 'Yeah, Right' icon.

That's a good thing. : ) It's important for a writer to like their characters. Not only that, but you've made her valid in the Superman fandom. She could easily be part of the movie from the way you've written her.

And that's a huge compliment. I've tried really hard to make it that way. Especially since so many people thought she was a throw-away character when I started. Even B asked me how I was going to get rid of her. Of course, she didn't know the plot at the time. I'm just glad everyone loves her. And Jason really does need an ally. I'm glad he's not alone.

Honestly? I thought that too. There've been TOO many stories where original characters have either taken over or have been so out of place. That's part of the reason why it took me so long to jump on the bandwagon - I've seen this thing hundreds of times before, and its always tanked.

Now I can't imagine this story without her. She's such a wonderful compliment to Jason's character... and, somehow, it makes Lois' relationship with her children THAT MUCH MORE enduring.

And I agree completely. And just thinking of our LO having to do all of the 'Mommy' things when they were growing up with two little terrors always makes me smile. She'll recount some more of it as time goes on.

I said that about Kala? Really? *brain feels fuzzier than normal this morning*

*LOL* Back when you first started beta-ing. Way back in Chapter Two, when she gave birth. I remember you asking, "So, how are you going to get rid of the girl?" I hadn't told you my plans yet. It was a LOOOONG time ago.

I just can't imagine ever wanting a child to be gotten rid of... did I even understand who she was at the time? Sheesh.

No, you had no idea. I think I surprised you with it. Actually, I may not have even warned you what I had planned. It was just..."Twins? What?"
