I wonder if Lush is anyting like our Body Shop...

Sounds the same to me...

They're very similar - and they're both British companies (I used to work for the Body Shop) that have stores in the U.S. but LUSH has certain things the Body Shop doesn't have. I like them both. :D (Also LUSH only has a few stores in the U.S. where the Body Shop has quite a few.)

Nice collection of goodies Lois. :D

Well.. I found out there are a handfull of LUSH stores in Holland. I'll check one out when I'm in Amsterdam next week...

I adore the Body Shop... actually applied for a job there once, but cancelled the meeting when my current job hired me back. Love what they stand for...

I think LUSH has very similar policies in terms of being eco friendly and actually I was just skimming their website to discover they got started by selling their products TO the Body Shop!

Do you know that I've know what The Body Shop was since I was a child, but it was made such a 'pretty-rich-girl better-than-you' thing at my school (like Bongo and Guess Jeans) back in the day, that I never even bother to go in? *makes an effort to actually go into them now*

They're close, but Lush is a much more laid back kinda of place. And the prices are a little better. Lush has always seemed insane happy to me. :D

Really? The Body Shop has a snob reputation in the States? That's not at all the case in Holland. Funny even, since one of their campaigns is about self esteem...

I can comapre the two myself.. see which one I prefer..

It's not so much that they have a snobby rep as much as the snobby people shop there. I've never felt that they marketed themselves as 'too good for you' as much as their clientele makes you think it.

Let me know what you think! I'm conidering trying out on the Body Shop store in our nearby mall just to try it out myself. :D

Thanks, Maaike!

I love the Think Pink!

A lot of LUSH stuff makes me sneeze (I can't go into their stores, for serious) but I LOVE the Think Pink bath bombs. :D

I remember you telling me! Want to know something crazy? I was still somewhat Balrog when I went in Saturday and it actually cleared my sinuses! *LOL*

I think that's one of the reasons I'm so crazy about the Orlando International location. I start smelling it as I cross the concourse and I just get stupid-excited-giddy. XD

I want my 'Lois in Love' one, but it's down for the moment. OMG, Babette, it's addictive. I've never loved bath stuff the way I love this. And I'm a bath junkie. *chitters like a crack monkey*
