(Clois with Lois/Richard undertones)

Since Richard is MIA most of the time.
sean_montgomery: Brandon - helpsean_montgomery on January 2nd, 2007 11:34 pm (UTC)
But it's not really Clois relational. It's more like Clois I'm here for you.

The Richard/Lois is there. They just aren't... really... together...
Loiskalalanekent on January 2nd, 2007 11:44 pm (UTC)
But there's only reminders and commentary of Richard, not flesh-and-blood Richard, thus far.
sean_montgomery: Me - working writersean_montgomery on January 2nd, 2007 11:47 pm (UTC)
Hmm... I guess that's true. *MASSIVE SPOILER ALERT! DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SPOIL IT FOR YOURSELF!!!*

It's not going to be an eventual Clois paring, though. It's going to stay with the engagement angle with Clark as the outsider.

(God, I hate doing this to him. It's killing me to write it... but it's so much fun at the same time! : D)
Loiskalalanekent on January 3rd, 2007 12:03 am (UTC)
It's okay that it might not. Not all versions can have them back together. Some situations can never be fixed. Does change by mind about the story, though. :D

Was 'The Dance' a stand-alone, then? Out of curiousity?

I think I'm going to have the reputation as the rare Superman writing who does NOT write a multi-chapter story about Lois learning who he is or them getting together (though with one-shots of them together... I gotta do it somewhere *wink*). I wanna see how Singer does it first. :D

Was 'The Dance' a stand-alone, then? Out of curiousity?

Yes, it was. And this Valentine's Day fic will be, too. But 'The Dance' had a connection with 'Out To Lunch', which could also be the case with the V-Day fic. I liked having something to relate to, and since OtL was so well recieved, I figured I could bounce back on that if I needed a foundation for something.

Does change by mind about the story, though.

CHANGES YOUR MIND HOW?! IN A GOOD WAY, OR BAD?! *hyperventalates and shakes in her seat*

*Gets paperbag* Typo. Typo. Sorry, love. Sorry. I was trying to type fast and didn't double check. Breathe. It's all good. I'm an idiot.

I agree with you on waiting to see what Singer does. Makes good sense, so it'll be connected to the filmverse when all of us may turn out wrong. That's why I like the premise on LS. I started out with her knowing. I didn't have to play with that at all.

I love the idea of OtL and TD and the VD story all being oneshots that connect. So we get both things. Continuity in the regular story and a possible future in the other. I love it.

*breathes deeply in the paperbag* So... you meant to say... 'It DOESN'T change my mind about the story, though'? *looks at you with wide eyes and the paperbag still in place*

Well, my take on it is that Singer is going to do something better than what I can think of. : D So I might as well be entertained then think, "Well, I guess that means I'm AU, then..."

I love the idea of OtL and TD and the VD story all being oneshots that connect. So we get both things. Continuity in the regular story and a possible future in the other.

That was kind of the point, but I don't think I realized that until after I had posted TD. I've always wanted to do a series of one-shots that connected somehow, but never found a way to do it. Something as simple and innocent as OtL is flexable, so you can add it in different ways. Remember that picture that Lois gives to Clark at the end of the story? It's going to show up again in Underground.

Yes, sweetheart. Sorry about that. *hug*

(Remember that picture that Lois gives to Clark at the end of the story? It's going to show up again in Underground.)

Love it. Good idea, since those of us reading Underground *and* the one-shots will get a grin out of that. I love little details like that.

It's like the fact that a missing scene from the original shooting script from STM is about to be mentioned in the next chapter and will become an important part of LS. Remember the Gold Room comment? That and a past Christmas party will have Richard asking more questions.

BTW, I'm going to start weedling for reviews on FF soon. I know I'm annoying. :D

Yes, sweetheart. Sorry about that. *hug*

*when returning the hug, slumps her forehead on your shoulder* Geez, Lois... don't SCARE me like that...

Good idea, since those of us reading Underground *and* the one-shots will get a grin out of that. I love little details like that.

It's also at risk of becoming more shameless self promotion. 'Don't know anything about the pic? Why haven't you read OtL yet??' ; )

Remember the Gold Room comment? That and a past Christmas party will have Richard asking more questions.

Was that from the STM shooting script? I was really confused about that, to be honest. I thought I had missed something, or that you were refurring to something to be said later on LS.

BTW, I'm going to start weedling for reviews on FF soon. I know I'm annoying.

Am I caught up, btw? Suddenly I can't remember...

(*when returning the hug, slumps her forehead on your shoulder* Geez, Lois... don't SCARE me like that...)

You know I love and Underground. I'm Sorry. I'm a moron. It happens.

(It's also at risk of becoming more shameless self promotion. 'Don't know anything about the pic? Why haven't you read OtL yet??' ; ))

I have, I have! Didn't I review? It's been a little bit. I really meant anyone that hasn't read it.

(Was that from the STM shooting script? I was really confused about that, to be honest. I thought I had missed something, or that you were refurring to something to be said later on LS.)

Yes, the Gold Room comment will be in LS as we get further. Will be one of Lois' flashbacks and something Richard will hear about. Was the original scene were Clark asks her out for the date she and Clark have after the flying sequence. Was priceless and *begged* to be used. So... *grins*

You know I love and Underground. I'm Sorry. I'm a moron. It happens.

I'm a moron, too. I get so nervous over what I write. It just means so much to me, I guess. Speaking of nervousness, did you see the 12 Days posting? I'm V-Day! Since you were Christmas, got any advice? : D

I have, I have! Didn't I review? It's been a little bit. I really meant anyone that hasn't read it.

Nah, I knew what you meant. And you did review, actually. It was this, to be exact:

'Aw. Very good, especially in nailing their relationship and keeping very real. I'd love to see more.'

Short and sweet. And you got to see more, whether you realized it or not. You discovered the author was your long-lost twin, after all... :)

Was priceless and *begged* to be used. So... *grins*

*grins* Sounds good. Will you be using original dialogue?
Loiskalalanekent on January 3rd, 2007 01:27 am (UTC)
(I'm V-Day! Since you were Christmas, got any advice? : D)

Start early! I think we must have polished that thing a million times. We're going to go AU for it, but set it during Heirs. A little sneak-peek at a *possible* (*LOL*) future. We only have a bare-bones idea as yet.

(You discovered the author was your long-lost twin, after all... :))

And yay for lost-lost twins! I can't believe I wrote one that short! *blushes* God, I suck!

(*grins* Sounds good. Will you be using original dialogue?)

Nope, not really. Don't have to. It fits LS perfectly. God, I love Donner. They *SO* should have filmed it.

sean_montgomery: Me-amusedsean_montgomery on January 3rd, 2007 01:32 am (UTC)
We only have a bare-bones idea as yet.

Ditto. I might have something where Lois figures out who he is... and that's the end. Not too sure yet. Still working on the idea.

A little sneak-peek at a *possible* (*LOL*) future.

*snort* You say that like it's STILL a teaser... HA!

I can't believe I wrote one that short! *blushes* God, I suck!

Well, I wasn't going to say it, but since you went ahead and did... KIDDING! Kidding, kidding... *grins and pokes you fondly* I know you love it... I just don't know exactly how much... *grins and pokes you again*

Nope, not really. Don't have to. It fits LS perfectly. God, I love Donner. They *SO* should have filmed it.

*gets very curious* I'll be interested in seeing it, then. Nothing like a little 'straight out of the shooting script' to make your story more believeable.

I don't do that *too* often, do I? *worried*
