But the best entry, and the closest to my own feelings, has to be kabuki_party 's on the events of 9/11 nine years ago and the aftermath for  our people (both those born or immigrated; we are ALL Americans) and the Islamic community as a whole. We shall honor the memories and sacrifice made by those we lost, but we must not lose sight of the tolerance for which our nation is known. Not all within a race, creed, or religion should be held accountable for one branch's actions.

I need my head examined for this one. It's been a long hot day here in Florida, full of Olive Garden birthday parties for April, anniversary stuff for us, and just general running around.
