Awww... Now I Definitely Have To Get To Work!
Just finished watching a favorite film from my childhood that always breaks my heart. Anyone remember The Boy Who Could Fly? I had forgotten how much I loved it. I always bawl like a baby at the end. And it feeds my own little private plot bunny about my AU version of the Smallville series. *whimpers like a sniffly little girl and hugs it*

In other news, things might be getting a little better at work. I won't know for sure until the week after next, once another employee comes home and gains control over the schedule again, but it looks like everything might work out. *sighs with relief* And we're closed on next Sunday, so I get a three-day weekend. Which never happens. *grins a little*

Well, now I'm off to work and plot a few more wedding-y things. Beta should be in before too late. Sorry to the Beta Team for being late, but it's been a rough week. Hopefully next week will be a lot smoother.

Oh man - I had such a love/hate relationship with that movie. I love the actual movie but hate the very unrealistic treatment of Autism. That movie put me through a lot of grief from people who thought my sister had deep psychological issues and she should just 'get over it' like the kid in the movie. I kept saying 'it's a fantasy, it's not real ...' ya know? But when it came out not nearly as much about Autism was known as is now (growing up a lot of people had never heard of it and I always had to explain it ... ) so people would see it and think that with a little counseling Lisa would get better. Because a kid flying around is so realistic I guess they thought everything in the movie was realistic. *snickers*

At the same time it is a beautiful story and the ending made me cry every time I watched it.

I do remember that movie! I haven't seen it seen probably 1989, but I do remember really liking it at the time.

I'm glad to hear better days are on the horizon at work. :)

I think I remember that movie, haven't seen it in a long time. I think I'll add it to my long list of movies to watch at Netflix...

Glad to hear that things are going better at work, always a plus, and yay for the wedding things. I'm hoping that you will have a post up when I get home tonight, but anyway when ever it is I'll be ready to read as usual..

Goodness, an '80s movie? I sorta remember that movie, but I can't remember the ending.:D

And 'your baby' Little Secrets, is definitely headed toward an amazing, fulfilling and incredible ending, I'm sure! *excited*

I remember that movie! I was really little when I saw and I still have no idea what it was about but it has always stayed in my mind (and the face of the kid who was playing him). Guess my interest in flying men started early on, eh?
